Software 407 LLC’s identity is being misused

A third party is using the Software 407 LLC company name, address, and federal tax ID without our authorization. They operate websites and publish mobile applications under our name. We are not affiliated with them in any way.
If you have been charged by a company using our name, that charge did not come from us. We did not receive your money and cannot refund it.
If you’ve been charged
- Call your bank or card issuer at the number on the back of your card. Dispute the charge as fraudulent or unauthorized, not as a billing dispute. You do not need the merchant’s cooperation.
- Ask them to block further charges from the same merchant. Charges like this could repeat monthly.
- Report it at reportfraud.ftc.gov and ic3.gov.
What is not ours
- The websites software407llc.com and software407.xyz. Our only website is software407.com.
- Any application published on Google Play under the developer name SOFTWARE 407 LLC, including Polkyn Fortune, Servicios RN Transport, and Home Energy Calculator. If you installed one, we suggest uninstalling it and reporting it to Google from the app’s listing page.
Reporting and investigation
We have reported this to the Orange County (FL) Sheriff’s Office, the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), and the Federal Trade Commission. The State of Florida has voided a fraudulent business filing made against our record.
